The only code I have is p0420 catalytic converter inneficient bank 1. It started misfiring like this once I got that code.
I was going to do the o2 sensor gap trick, would this fix it? Or do you think the misfire is unrelated to the code.

It might but there can be other reasons for the P0420 code. You may want to look at this before doing that.
