The head gasket on my '81 Toy with a 22R engine finally gave up. I need some ideas on how to keep the timing chain and cam sprocket connected and tensioned while I remove and replace the head. The chain and guides and tensioners only have a few thousand miles on them so I know it's good. Thanks everybody.

Well you have to pull the hat off to do the gasket and there's really no accurate way of holding it in place when you take that big piece off although some guys who are riverboat gamblers well make a wedge of wood and try to wedge that down under the head to hold it but that's kind of taking chances
