Toyota avensis 1.8 129 h.p transmission

Hello team . What could you advise me about replacing the transmission with second hand from another car or repairing my own . And also which another car model is  with suitable transmission for my Toyota avensis. Considering before 3 years I already was repairing the transmission (replacing  two primary shaft bearings) and now 2 weeks ago the gear box is making noise again .One mechanic told me is a good option to put transmission of "Celica 1.8 143h.p six-speed"  but I'm not sure and that's why I'm asking you here .

Transmissions aren't really user- repairable. They can technically be rebuilt, but you need lots of prior experience and hands-on time, not to mention the special tools you need. Professionals can't rebuild transmissions and restore it to the same quality as it was when it was new.

They don't make that model in the U.S. You can try a salvage yard transmission, but it's pot luck that the same issue you're having, that transmission also has.

If the mechanics of the car are otherwise good, find a remanufactured transmission from a reputable supplier with a 5-year, unlimited mileage warranty.
