Hi Scotty,

I recently watched one of your videos about transmissions and I was wondering, I drive a Toyota Avensis 2014 2.0L D4D in the UK and the car manual does not mention anything about changing the oil in the manual transmission.

I called the dealership and asked if I could bring my car in for a transmission oil change and they advised that they cannot change the oil because it is a lifetime transmission so I'm a bit confused.

What should I do?

The car is on 75000 miles at the moment and since watching your video I'm starting to think I should change the oil in the transmission soon, perhaps 100k miles? Or sooner?

What's your opinion on the matter.?

I love my car and hope to take good care of it.
