My transmission shift normal kind of hard when it's cold but smooth in general . Replaced the fluid and filter advised by AutoZone when I brought for fix finder . I changed spark plugs as well and after the light went away and came back after I filled up gas . I was able to erase with scan tool waiting for it to come back . Any advice ,fixes or tips ?

This might sound weird, but try cleaning your MAF sensor and your throttle body. I have a 2006 Toyota Sienna and it was having some hesitation at low speeds, and cleaning my MAF sensor and my throttle body helped a whole lot.

Hello all and thank you for the responses there's a kind of known problem with the computer pcm/tcm . What I decided to do today, the p2757 code came back, was disconnect the battery and then the computer connectors and i work in IT so I had some electronic safe cleaners on hand I only wiped the connections both on connector and port waited a bit . Connected everything back up . Took it for a drive and transmission shifts very smoothly no erratic upshifts or hard down shifts . They didn't look dirty on connectors but maybe there was slight corrosion and dirty I was able to clean up . Hopping that the code doesn't come back .I'll keep everyone up to date . If anyone has anything to add still welcome to advice

Update took it in for diagnosis it's looking like a faulty computer or transmission rebuild didn't think this would happen to my Corolla {black}:excitement: 🙁

It's official the torque converter is faulty and Toyota knew about it . Can't believe they'd do this to people who's have trust in the brand gonna cost 2000 ish to replace the torque converter but mechanics from different shops say I'll need a full rebuild and or new transmission any where from 3-6 thousand with labor . I love skotty kilmer information but this is a turning point for me and Toyota . Not skotty tho

Is it still shifting smooth at the moment? If yes, get rid of it. Put it up for sale & see what happens..
