2016 Kia Optima Total Lockdown

During a short drive on her way to work, my daughter's Optima stalled at a major intersection and she could not move the gearshift or steering wheel. Several warning lights came on including battery, keyfob, and oil. She also got a lot of waves from those stuck behind her. After a couple of minutes she was able to make the start button work again. Finally got a restart, all lights went off and car operated normally. No further events like this since. This car has been well maintained with frequent regular services. Battery is good and less than a year old. Dealer said basically nothing they could do unless they couple duplicate the problem. Daughter no longer trusts the vehicle...can't blame her. I replaced her key fob battery as a precaution.  Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated...other than get rid of the Kia. lol
