Hey, Scotty. I Have a Question

Can a Faulty Anti-theft System led to the Severe Parasitic Drain Problem on my Car's Batteries?

Thank You

PS: Could you Include This Question to one of Videos in the Future? Thank You 🙂

Yeah, I believe there should be less than 0.1A of current flow when the car is off, around 50-85mA is acceptable. If you have more then there is an issue.

What you'll need is a decent way to measure current, either disconnect the negative terminal and hook up a multimeter set to DC amps, or there are some that go around the wire and measure current through the magnetic field. If you discover there's a draw and you think its the anti theft system, find the fuse for it and unplug it, see if your current drops. Once the current drops you know the draw is on that fuse.
