I have a situation with the anti theft alarm system in a Dodge charger 2006 SE, V6. I unplugged the battery to replace an ignition coil connector. When it came to plugging the battery back in all the car does is scream and beep. Putting the key in the ignition triggers it's alarm system and it refuses to start. I tried a method of turning the key to the on position and pressing the unlock button on the door several times, and removing the alarm fuse to no avail. Anti theft still won't allow the car to start. No issues before the battery was unplugged.

How many keys do you have for this car? If you have a spare key, use that to try to start the car.

contact the alarm manufacturer and ask how to reset it. Usually they provide a manual.
