Hello!

I have a 2009 Honda Civic Coupe EX (Automatic)

My car came with no key fob, so it’s just the key itself.

driver’s side lock cylinder doesn’t work, so my key wont open it and the passenger side doesn’t have a lock cylinder.

a year ago until now, the buttons to unlock the door (passenger side only for some reason) and suddenly I got locked out and security system came on.

We had to unlock the trunk latch to get in, and the alarm system went off, and now the car is just stuck in anti-theft mode and the car cannot be driven at it is now stuck in Park.

are there any solutions for this, and if so, what is the average cost?

Best bet is to hire a locksmith. They could make you a key that locks and unlocks the door. You might have to buy a new lock assembly for that door. Then you would have a separate key for the door and another one for the ignition. That'll be the best way to fix it
