Hi, Greetings from Quebec, Canada
I am looking at purchasing privately a Toyota C-HR 2019, 70,000 Kms (45,000 miles). Comes with all the service records done on time at the dealer. I don"t have access to the car presently but I think it has a 4 cyl engine and a CVT transmission ( sorry, the lady who is selling it isn"t sure about anything mechanical ). It is a Canadian car as you may have noticed by being in Kilometers. S/N: JTNKHMBX2K1038826, made in Japan.
I was wondering if you have heard anything about certain production periods having a bolt that could come loose and damage the transmission? I have read about it on the internet but can not find the time period which was affected.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and answer if possible.
Regards
Buck
No, I haven't seen any problems with the CHRs. A very small amount of Toyota Corolla hatchbacks had a problem but I believe they fixed them before anybody actually even bought those cars
Thanks. Have a good day
