Scotty, congratulation on your 2 billion video views. I have a 2004 Yukon (Not an XL) the ac works when it wants to, the compressor does not kick in consistently. My mechanic seems to be puzzled with it also. Would you know what the problem could possibly be? Do I need to go ahead and replace the compressor because of its inconsistency or other parts? Sensors on the system have been replaced.
Thanks Scotty

Well first you need to start out with a mechanical. Really understands GM AC systems. They are computer-controlled monsters and unless a mechanic has a dealer level scan tool that can do bi-directional testing of the AC system. They're basically just pissing in the wind trying to fix it. They are that complex so try to find a guy who knows what he's doing on those that has the equipment without it. It's just wild. Guesswork
