My wife is looking in to purchasing a new car, what do you think about. New Toyota C-HR. is it a good buy? Will it last a long time?

Yes, anything Toyota will last you a very long time.

The Toyota CHR is a great car when it comes to longevity but it is impractical and tiny. If you do your own research, you will see the Honda HR-V is a much more practical car. the interior, cargo space, legroom is larger than ch-r and it's a solid car the modern CVT's are more than decent.
