Hi, I have a 2015 Toyota Camry and all services done by the original Toyota dealer that I bought the vehicle from new from them back in 2015. 

recently I was wiping the engine and I saw the engine air box lid is broken. Since I never served the vehicle only with the one dealer, I asked them to replace it for me for free because they are the only one inspect or changed the engine air filter and they are the one must broke it.

The dealer agreed to replace the air box for free, but after they replaced it I found the dealer replaced it with a used air box although I have an email from them telling they ordered a new one for me which is was a lie. 

my concern that I saw inside the air box a permanent filter part of the box. My concern if the filter for the used air box filter is dirty and might effect on the car performance even when I replace the disposal engine air filter. 

please let me know your thought?
