Hey Scotty, my father-in-law bought a 2022 Jeep Gladiator despite my recommendation to exercise caution with anything from FCA. He’s noticed that the steering tends to wander at high speeds. I’m thinking that is just the nature of Jeep handling and the re-circulating ball design. Is there anyway to adjust this like checking the alignment or computer calibration or is he just going to have to get used to it. Thanks!
There is various possibilities on what it could be. But I assume that it may be from a bent/misaligned steering link but if there is no air in the steering, just pray it is not something that has to do with electronics because it might get expensive very quickly.
@ghost_biker_001 can you put your answers into the ‘Your Answer’ section down below? Thank you.
All Jeeps wander the road. It is the way they handle. My brother's 2018 Wrangler Sahara is no different and hasn't been since day 1. The dealer will tell you it's normal as well.
Take this brand new rolling pile of junk back and demand that it be fixed or refund your purchase price.
I'm sure that car is still under warranty so yeah take it back to the dealer and have them fix it. And if they can't fix it then see if you can get your money back using Lemon Law if possible. Then stay away from Jeep.
