Hi Scotty! I have a 1996 Toyota Celica, 1,8 liter 5-speed manual transmission, 154 000 miles.
My transmission is really hard to get into first and second gear when the car is moving. There is no problem when the car is standing still. Sometimes it can also be hard to shift into reverse, even while standing still. I have changed the transmission fluid, but it didn't help.
What do you think the problem is?

pray that it just needs a new clutch because if not it would be internal damage on the transmission which would require rebuilding that is very expensive
