Hi Scotty. I’ve got an ‘04 Corolla with the 1.8L motor with 210,000 miles and bought it new. I’ve had oil dripping from the motor for years yet the local dealers can’t find the problem. Is it a timing cover gasket or the head gasket or???

Could be and likely several places. Not rocket science... find another mech imo.
"yet the local dealers can’t find the problem." It is a dealer and I believe they are just pretending to be ignorant like they do in all situations, especially Toyota USA.

Then once you’ve positively identified the source(s) of the leak, fix it yourself or take it to a different mechanic.
