Hi everyone! I have a 2017 toyota corolla and when I dip my dipstick the oil slides up the dipstick so i can't tell the level. Trying this multipule times hot or cold and it still does it many times and I just give up. I'm starting to feel like an idiot so any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂 /span>

I clean off my dipsticks with carb cleaner and paint the end bright yellow. When I pull the dipstick, there is always oil all up and down but now I can see where the straight line oil level actually is.
Wow great suggestion. Is there any posibility of contamination/what kind of paint did you use to minimize the chance? Will be a good weekend job for me! 🙂 thanks
