Well here in the US, we have the turbocharged 3 cylinder from a 2023 Toyota GR Corolla which is a high performance hatchback so with that engine you're becoming a guinea pig because nobody on earth knows how long can this engine last considering a overstressed tiny turbocharged 3 cylinder that produces 300 horsepower since it just came out recently but there's a non turbo 3 cylinder variant that makes 123 horsepower which is not offered here in the US but sold in other parts of the world, they're underpowered but it should last long as far as I'm concerned.
Thank you. The engine is non turbo. They aren't selling the turbo in Israel. I have this car and it is underpowered. It seems to me that the engine is yelling loud during accelerations. It is a company car, and I consider to buy it after the 3 years period, when the company will replace it.
But I thought that maybe the life of the engine will be short due to higher wear.
