Hello Scotty, I love your channel, thank you for helping people🙌 My question is about new toyota corolla 2023 LE, 4k miles, CVT. pre-collision plug issue. recently I drove my new corolla for camping, there was a little bumpy road, after that all lights is turn on, warning me about pre-collision system malfunction. when I went to the Dealership they spent few days to figure out what is the problem. after few days they call me and told me that everything is good. they ask me the question if my windshield was recently replaced? i said no, its new car i just bought it from you. they say, that my pre-collision plug was disconnected, and the only way it can be disconnected is by replacing the windshield. That’s should be covered by warranty because it’s looks like manufacturing mistake by having that plug loose I assumed? they made me pay $300 just to plug that pin back. is it fair????
is it fair????
of course not. The assembler probably didn't plug it in all the way, and it shook loose on the road. I absolutely would not have paid them.

they would know if the windshield was replaced because of residues. They're pulling a fast one on you. I would escalate the matter up to management or corporate.
