Toyota fuel pump recall

Has anyone received the recall for the Toyota fuel pump recall? I had a Toyota Sienna with the defective fuel pump and now have found out that my ‘18 Camry has it as well. I had symptoms out of the sienna but was told it was a stuck open purge valve and had it replaced. My Camry has showed no signs of this yet. Upon further research, my ‘19 sequoia may also have this fuel pump. What’s with this being in so many vehicle years and makes? This is similar to the Takata recall and brake recall in having so many vehicles affected. Did Toyota not do their research before using these products in their cars?

I think it is something about the plastic impeller not being cured properly (I could be wrong).

So, the impeller could potentially weaken and break apart.

And how long that takes to happen is anybody's guess.

Honda is recalling some of the same pumps from 2017-18 models.
