Thank you all for your input with my previous post. Based on that, I will now be focused on the two cars mentioned above. Would like to stick with 2014 and newer. Based on my preferences and budget ($25K), I would be looking at vehicles that have 70,000 miles+. Is there anything that I should be looking for/aware with either vehicle that needs to be done in the near future? Are there certain years to stay away from? Thanks for your help in this.

Both great choices. Highlander is a little bigger. RAV4 is a little smaller. Both have a reputation of reliability. It really comes down to your preference of size.
