Hello. My coworker and friend is selling his 2003 Toyota Corolla LE automatic he has about 210K on the car. It is in fair condition, no accidents to speak and no major problems. I live in upstate NY and the car was not garaged but it was maintained somewhat but not as well as you (or I) might take care of a vehicle. He has not used it much in the last year to year and a half. He will probably give me a very fair price. I guess my question is, should I buy it? Here's the hold back, insurance on this will be $1300 for a year and that is without collision, it would be the fourth car on my policy. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would not pay over $1200 for it. Could last another 100,000 miles. Pay a mechanic an hour labor to check it out before the purchase.
Whatever you do be sure to have a mechanic check it out first.
