Toyota Australia has announced a new 5 year warranty on vehicles plus an extra 2 years on the engine.
Is Toyota experiencing more engine issues than before?

A warranty that they don't stand behind is worthless and just a marketing ploy. Whenever there's a problem, they look at you with a straight face and say "That's normal."

Not that I've seen yet but warranty is sometimes just the way to sell people cars make them longer and people buy more
