I could buy a Toyota Sequoia limited 2005 very good condition with 290K km or Honda pilote 2006 good condition with same mileage. Which one would you recommend?

You didn't mention the price of either one or where it's being sold at. 290k kilometers is 180k miles. How much are you willing to gamble on an 18 year old SUV?

Without knowing anything else and assuming they are in decent condition considering their age.
First choice Sequoia, second choice Pilot, and then the rest of the brands I would not consider for the most part.
Granted, it is nearly 20 years old, and will have age related problems that no brand can avoid. With that said, if I were to get a 20 year old car, I’d rather get a Honda or Toyota.
