It's a temporary band aid. It won't fix the transmission entirely. I would pass on this one.

Maybe for 10 or 15 minutes. I would not buy any vehicle with a transmission that is clearly malfunctioning. The idea the seller is pushing that it's isn't an urgent issue is completely bogus. That trans is in the process of self-destructing.
I can't answer the question as to whether it's worth purchasing or not. I read the ad. I has low milage and that's always good.
What I find interesting is that the guy says , "The speed sensor was replaced in Oct. 2020, as we thought that might be the issue."
Then why is he still getting the P0793 circuit code? Here's that DTC Detection Condition for the Sienna.

So if the intermediate shaft revolution (measured by the NC speed sensor) is Less than 300 rpm when the output shaft revolution (measured by the NT speed sensor) is More than 1,000 rpm (vehicle speed 31 mph or more), the ECM detects the trouble, illuminates the MIL and stores the P0793 DTC.
That code is going to be set by either an Open or Short in that sensor's wiring or by the sensor itself. (NC speed sensor). ((The ECM is rarely the issue)).
And you can't even address the P0776 SL2 shift solenoid code when there isn't a voltage signal from the intermediate shaft speed sensor (NC speed sensor) because that could be the cause of that one. (and the reason for the sloppy shifting).
The question is, did he replace the right speed sensor to address the P0793 code because if there isn't a short or open in the 2 wires between the computer and that sensor then that code should have went away after replacing the sensor with an OEM sensor.

Anyway, just food for thought and you should watch some youtubes on addressing that other P0776 code in case you'd have to address that one to see if it's something you'd feel comfortable tackling

Unlikely, partly due to the fact a speed sensor has broken in the tranny. (P0793)
DO NOT PURCHASE unless you're ready to put in a new transmission in very soon.
