Does the 2006 toyota solara 2.4 liter engine have the psiton ring defect as well? Checked on car complaints.com and saw some complaints about oil consumption issues, just a couple though?
Please let me know.
And is that year(2006) se trim with the 4 cylinder engine and 5 sp automatic transmission a good car?

No, that model year is good. They are reliable cars as well. Make sure your mechanic checks it before purchase.

If Im not mistaken it was only the 2007-2008 4 cylinder Solaras that had that defect. The 6 cylinder 2007-2008 were fine I believe
