Hi team,
I recently flushed and replaced my coolant on my 2015 Toyota Highlander. I tested the acidity level (ph) with a testing strip directly from the new bottle that I purchased at the Toyota dealership. It gave me a reading of 6.5. At that level the strip recommends to change coolant. Does Toyota coolant run acidic on purpose or did they give a bad batch?
That's an interesting question. I've never done that test but there's various levels of acidity in different types of coolant and the strips are too generic to test them all correctly
Hi Scotty! Nice to hear from you! Thanks for your advice. I’ll try a different brand of coolant testing kit and see if it gives me the same reading.
Scotty, can you make a YouTube video explaining on how to properly apply both electronic and mechanical emergency break while in motion. Thanks again for sharing the knowledge.
