What Toyota SUV should I buy?

Hello Scotty, I’m looking for a Toyota suv. My wife really likes the 4runner but I’m not opposed to other options like the Land Cruiser, sequoia, or anything like that. The main question I would have for you is if I stick with a 4Runner and concentrate on finding one of those used what year span do you suggest I look for. I agree with you on the newer trucks that have those turbos have too much pressure inside of the motor and they just won’t last like the older naturally aspirated truck engines I’m sure certain years are a bit better than others and you being a Toyota guy like me. I’m sure you know best. We currently have a 2012 Toyota Corolla and a 2008 Toyota Camry, even though that Camry has the 2.4 L with the Oil ring problem and consuming oil problem, we just top it off and it keeps running 😎. Let me know what year and makes I should take a look at and I will start my searching for that used vehicle that’s right for me. Thanks for all your help and making great videos over the years!

Well to begin with I would stay away from any of them that have turbochargers. And really with an SUV if you're going larger size you want at least a V6 if not a V8. Now. If you're going smaller like a RAV4 you could get a force on it one. And of course if you want to get better gas mileage you can get a hybrid, but you're going to pay a lot more for it and in the long run like 15-20 years down the line repairs will be much more expensive on a hybrid
