Scotty,
I have a 2020 Toyota Tacoma with 4500 miles on it. Of course it needs a new fuel pump, but the transmission sometimes shifts roughly.
Should I trade it in or sell it? It’s a six speed automatic mated to 3.5 L V6

Why do you wanna throw in the towel without a fight? Get Toyota to fix it since it’s their headache (still under factory warranty)!

Because I know the stealership will say “it’s normal” . It doesn’t always shift rough but sometimes. I just feel like these 6spd transmissions are not reliable

Trade in is usually a bad idea.

- Film the issue if you can. Then go to the dealership and ask for test drive one of their Tacomas and the show the clip you took from your car. This way, they can not say it is normal. And FYI:
- 6 Speed Toyota transmissions are one of the best ones out there .

"Of course it needs a new fuel pump"...on a new vehicle...that doesn't sound right.
Transmission...have them reflash transmission software.
