Scotty,

Thank you for making videos I have been watching for 3 years now and finally need your advice if you can please help.  I have a 2008 Toyota Sienna LE 8 Passenger 3.5L 2grfe with VTT noise seen your video "You'll Never Have to go to an Oil Change Shop Again with This" thinking about buying the Baxter Performance TS-501-BK Cartridge. The reason is that the VVT makes noise in morning seems like the oil drains out of the top end, will this baxter adapter help with anti drain valve filters maintaining adaquate oil in the top end to quite the VVT. Also have you installed your adaptor and what was your opinion did you notice a quiter VVT on start up after the intial start up? Do you think the filtration would be the same or better? and the oil pressure would that be higher or lower?

Appreciate you time and Videos

well filtration will be better cuz it's higher quality filter but often those noises are from where and the timing chain or on the VVT assembly itself but it's a good idea to put that adapter on anyway

Scotty Thank you I when i will purchase when i get the opportunity, I was just given the Vehicle from my best friend he just would drive and go. Vehicle sat year and half changed oil in summer 2020 after replacing the Valve cover Gaskets and Tube Gaskets the top end looked like Sludge coated cleaned as best Bank 1 & 2. Did a Seafoam 5 oz with oil drove about 200 miles. Wont do that again thinned out oil way to much. Talked to my unlce suggested a high detergent to slowly clean researched and replace oil with ACEA A5/B5 ILSAC GF-6A.

  1. Castrol Edge 5W-30 Advanced Full Synthetic Motor Oil, Model 03230/ 03084C - 5QT Walmart Date 01-22-2021 Mileage 168,611

I Recommend this tool did purchase  VXDiag https://www.vxdiagshop.com/wholesale/vxdiag-vcx-nano-for-toyota-wifi-version.html if you buy pay the extra for shipping you will get in 3 days. bought the cheaper cable with ODBii took 6 week to come was had limited functions compared to VXDiag Toyota tool.

Bought on ebay Toyota Tech Stream 15.0 software. Powerful tool beside programming the lights you can turn on hidden features light Alarms system that hew was offered to purchase when he bought vehicle sad no. I was able to see realtime which cylinders were misfiring due to oil shorting out replace all 3 back coils. Also you program headlight auto off,key fobs, tpms sensors shows tire pressures everything that these $4k tools do even set transmission to relearn.

Bought 2003 Ford windstar 3yrs ago body was mint at 160k new that the transmission had issues then found after 6 mo. that the Coolant was mixing with the trans fluid. Since then I have installed a external cooler for transmission mounted on Both  using a Schedule 40 piping verticle with slots slid between upper & Lower edge to prevent movement and max air flow in front of Condensor dropped the tempature in summer even on a 90 degree day in new england Before was around 220F after was around 150 - 165F. using transcooler only.

Did end upper replacing transmission due to Foaming on ford and torque converter failing.

Purchased a reman transmission from

https://reman-transmission.com/transmissions/ford/windstar/2003/automatic-6-232-3.8l

best warranty had a issue where toque converter shuddering about 30k after was warrantied cost me $300 in labor. They sent new transmission with syn oil no freight fees delivery or pick local trans shop swapped out.

Thank You Love your channel.
