Toyota Warranty

I recently purchased a 2021 Cary AWD. I was offered the Toyota backed bumper to bumper extended warranty for 10yr./125,000 miles for $1,795. The coverage period is good, but is it worth buying for a reliable vehicle like a Camry?

No, I would not get it.  Save that money and invest it or place into a savings for future repairs.  Maybe if that was their flagship Lexus LS or LC500, or a German/Italian vehicle - then sure not a bad idea (offers some piece of mind, although realize most these companies may try to work their way out of a claim).  Anyhow, if modern Toyota’s esp. Camry or Corollas need extended warranties, then we are certainly in trouble.

I would not do it. They always seem to find away not to honor them. A better way is to setup an account and stash some money every month.  When something does happen you will be able to cover it.

i bought one for a '19 RAV4 from the dealer when purchased, cost was $1500, might be a waste of money, but was concerned about all the new electronics and untested transmission
