Hey, Scotty, hows life in the fast lane. My wife wants a second set of used OEM wheels with TPMS so she can have a set for winter and summer. Do they have to be programed each time she swaps wheels? Keep up the great vids and keep all four tires on the ground.

Yes, each TPMS sensor has a unique ID that needs to be “programmed” to the main module in the vehicle (usually a BCM module) so it recognizes it. The procedure for “programming” it should be in your owner’s manual. It should be straightforward.
Also, if you were rotating the tires, you’d have to reprogram them as well.
