hi, i have a 1995 ford escort 1.9L engine. it seems to me every parts store, brick/mortor or online.
have the spark plugs i have ordered ,but don't seem to have the right plug. (original manufaturer calls for #AGSF-34PP)
the facing on the engine block calls for a crush washer type plug and not the tapered shoulder type.
everyone is sending me the tapered type which i would be for a tapered seat
i'm i wrong for noticing this .

Well they will fit it's just that it's cheaper to make them that way the washer ones are actually a better design but of course they want to make things as cheap as they possibly can. They were work fine as long as you get them in tight enough
I use to buy different spark plug brands but I've been told that it's best to stick with OEM plugs especially on Fords.
