I have a car question regarding a check engine light and AWD system warning light. I drive a 2015 Lexus RX 350 with about 110,000 miles. Earlier today I noticed that my check engine light came on and it displayed TRAC OFF AWD system off.
What does this mean and is this a serious issue? I haven’t had issues like this before. I live in Iowa and we currently have had a lot of snow and the conditions are pretty wet.

Start with scanning for codes. The TRAC OFF and AWD system might not have any issues and your CEL might trigger them.
Could be as simple as your gas cap was not tightened the last time you got gas, or the seal on it may be going bad. My 2008 GX470 did that the last month, until I got a new gas cap.
As @yaser said, get your codes checked, they will do it for free at most auto parts stores.
Most likely a wheel speed sensor. It turns traction and abs off if the ecu doesn't get all signals from each wheel. But could also be other issues but that's the most common one. Have someone pull the codes and that will give you a better direction to start.
