Traction control light coming on

Greetings,

I have a questions about my 2014 camry: every time I step on the gas at an incline, my traction control light comes on and the front of the car shutters and the wheels start spinning out for a few seconds. This is made especially worse when it rains and the roads are wet, but only happens if I'm going uphill from a stop. Is this normal or is there something I can do about it? My tires have plenty of tread and I keep up with regular maintenance. The car has only 71K miles and is an automatic with no codes. It was previously a fleet car.

This is the ABS kicking in and no need to worry about it. The Toyotas ABS system is like that.

If you can, be a bit more gentle on the gas and then you do not experience this issue.

@yaser
or turn it off an enjoy knowing you can squeal the tires ; )

The light will come on when you lose traction, it's normal.
