I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata GLS automatic transmission with 153,000 miles and sometimes without warning my traction control light will come on and stay on and the car will not accelerate. Sometimes when this happens the check engine light will turn on for a while then go off. When I shut the car off it will work just fine. What could be the issue?

Scan it for codes.

It’s going into limp mode when the warning lights are illuminated. As recommended by @doc, scan the vehicle for codes and please post them here.

Check your wheel bearings. Any roaring sounds?
