Traction control stays off

I have a 2015 Mustang GT with an automatic transmission with only 14,400 miles on it. I no longer have the ability to switch the traction control on or off.  It stays off all the time.  It is bone stock as it is a 50th Anniversary Edition.

Have you already scanned for any codes?

In the past, I've seen that happen when the ABS module has a fault. It is tied to the traction control and when it goes out or malfunctions, you'll get the traction control light on constantly.

Have you done burnouts in it? Believe it or not, Mustang traction control systems don't like them, even when the system is turned off.

If the light is lit constant, you can have your local parts store scan it and see what codes you get. But I'd be expecting an ABS module issue.

Well if it stays off it means it's a problem with the system check fuses but it's not that you're going to have to see a mechanic like me that's all electronic computer run stuff that you can't get any access to without a dealer level scan tool
