Hi there, so I’m replacing my lower trailing arms and I seem to be struggling here. So when I got the old ones off an tried putting the new ones on the bushings don’t quite line up perfectly with the bolt holes, I can get one on fine but the other side doesn’t, I compared each part an they look identical, it’s a 2011 crown Victoria. It’s a simple job it’s just that the holes don’t line up.
compress the suspension
Unfortunately that didn’t help much, but thanks though if I knew how to post a pic of what’s happening it might clear something up
just share your photo to whatever online service you like and post the image link here. There are anonymous ones like postimages.org , imgur.com, imgbb.com, servimg.com, sendspace.com, pasteboard.co, etc...
Unfortunately I can't see much. Just a blurry hole.
But it looks like the openings are not far off. I would just stick a rod of some sort in there (like large screwdriver) and just lever the part over until it lines up.
Sweet I’ll pry that sucker I know I ask stupid questions sometimes lol so don’t mind me too much I’m working on a beater car that holds many mysteries
