2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Transmission issue

Topic starter

we have a 2005 Jeep grand Cherokee 4x4 with the hemi engine, the vehicle shuts off when we shift it into drive.  Mechanics have replaced the transmission solenoid pack and claim the Tcm relay is good but the vehicle still cuts off. However if you remove the trans/AC clutch fuse in the fuse box (18) the vehicle will not cut off when you stick it in drive but will just go into 3rd gear and limp mode. Some say it may be a short in the wiring somewhere but where along those wires I'm not sure where to check. Do you have any ideas where I should focus at? Also when i hook of my mk808 scan tool to the system and read the vehicle it shows the transmission fluid temperature hot as a true reading and I haven't even started the vehicle. would that temperature sensor tell the vehicle to cut off when placed in drive? Would love it if you could assist any and we love watching all of your videos.

Thanks

Check the wiring and connectors for corrosion  and frayed wires.
