Scotty, you can prove to me you're a Buffalo native if you can sing the intro to the Joey Reynolds show on KBW. Used to listen to KB from Rutland County VT back in the Sixties! Don't think I've ever heard you sing!
Just bought a used 2016 Lexus 300 IS with no owners manual or service record. Just under 140,000 miles. Asked my garageman to change the transmission fluid and he recommended not to. What about if he just removed the dirtiest 16 ounces or so. Think there could be a problem or not?

I would change the fluid & filter if you want the transmission to last.
My transmission mechanic would say change it too.
