Hi Scotty, I am the original owner and have a 2007 RAV4 with 96k miles and have never changed the transmission fluid. Should I change it or is it too late?

Change it without flush.
Would/should I change tranny filter as well?

Yes, change the transmission fluid and filter.
Make it a habbit to change it every 50 60k miles.

Why remove dirty oil and keep the dirt strained/filtered fro that oil? For a small price you can have clean oil and filter.
