I have a 1996 Ford bronco that I keep having a shifting issue with. It has a hard shift at times. Or is does not shift out of low gear at all at times. But if I take the battery cable off and then start it it shifts find for a period of time. I can never know when it decided to down shift. Or the haul light start blinking.on the dash. It has a recall for a sensor on the transmission a few years ago and it shifted fine for awhile but then it started doing this again.
