Hey Scotty I have an 07 Avalon with 197k miles on it. It runs and shifts like a dream. The only part I don't know about it's past history is when the transmission fluid was last changed. It doesn't look dirty when I pull out the dipstick. You've mentioned before not changing the fluid if it's super dirty and wasn't changed before because of the friction it gives. Do I risk changing it, and if so, when? I want the longest possible life out of this car.
manual or automatic?

If it’s not black and smells and still has color to it I’d change it out. Shouldn’t really be a problem.
