2001 Hyundai Elantra 145,000 automatic
got this car while I save money for better car. Transmission leaking. Been reading it takes 5 quarts to fill. Want to put Lucas transmission fix to help solve problem. Would I just put 4 quarts of new transmission fluid and then a bottle of Lucas? Certainly don’t want to overfill
Is your tranny leaking or slipping?
both leaking and slipping with code P0715....changing input speed sensor along with fluid change

Yes, you would fill it 1 quart short to leave room for the stop slip.

I don't think the additive will help with the leak
