I have a 2013 Mazda CX-5 AWD with the 2.5l 4 cylinder Naturally Aspirated Engine
& 6 Speed Automatic. I am the original owner from new it has 68,000 miles
My Mechanic says I should change the automatic transmission fluid and filter as well as the rear differential oil since it is now 8 years old. It still runs like a dream and has no problems shifting and I don't want to be spending a bunch of money that I don't have too, I plan on keeping it for a another 8 years since I only drive about 6000 miles a year
what do you think?

The mechanic is right. You need to do your maintenance as it is time.
