Hey Scotty, I have a 1995 Mercedes-Benz C280 with the 2.8L i6 and 4 speed automatic with about 230k miles, when shifts gears the car would have a slight jerk or shake, nothing to bad but noticeable. Aslo there’s a faint grinding noise in the rear that sometimes happens. Could the transmission be going out or need of a fluid change or is the the the engines loss of power due to a vacuum leak I know about.

When was the trans fluid and filter changed last? If you have a known vacuum leak, fix it.

She's a good 27 year ole Girl that may be getting a bit long in the tooth. Trani may just be tired/worn.
