Hello Scotty,
We have a 2014 Honda Pilot.
From the beginning we have found harshness when gear shifts from 3rd to 2nd.
Also upshifts to 3rd can be a bit jerky.
On the highway when going uphill we can sometimes feel shuddering.
The Honda folks, a local transmission shop and an independent mechanic all say there is no problem.
I disabled the VCM long time ago, so it cannot be because of that.
Please suggest,

The week is point of Hondas have always been their automatic transmissions but if it's done this for a long time I would personally just live with it unless a true professional Honda automatic transmission mechanic can reprogram the shifts I would just leave it alone
