1998 Toyota corolla Ce 4-speed Automatic 166,640 Miles
It shift hard to 2nd gear, fluid level is Okey
is it going out down the road? Are there a fix?

It is wearing you might try draining one quart of fluid and replacing with one quart of Lucas transmission fix and see if it helps
