Transmission Life Expectancy on 2009 Honda Accord

Hi everyone, I have a 2009 Honda Accord V6 with about 120K miles on it. I've always heard that Honda transmissions are a weak point. How long should I expect the transmission to run well? I hear some years are better than others.  I change the trans oil (drain and fill) about every 30K miles. So far everything seems fine. Anything else I can do to help it last longer. I don't drive like a maniac (most of the time!).

then you're already doing everything you can. Above and beyond I would say.

Nobody really knows how long anything will last. Especially if we're not the 1st owner. We just give it the best chance by regular maintenance, and driving within limits. If you had it since new then I'd say you're in good shape. Any obvious problems should show up on carcomplaints.com

It was 2-3 generations prior to your car that you had to worry way more about the Honda transmissions. Your transmission should most likely be okay.
