Hi, long story short, I asked for a transmission fluid change and the shop did a transmission flush to my automatic transmission.
Now it's shuddering during the lockup, after 4th to 5th gear. The 5th gear is already engaged, only after that the car shudders. I assume it's the transmission lockup moment.
I've noticed the shudder is taking longer to go away. My question is: is there still time to properly service the transmission and save it? Thanks.
Clarification: Year, Make, Model, Mileage?, type of transmission?
2011 Subaru Tribeca, 100k miles, 5 speed automatic transmission.

take it to a transmission specialist. The shop that flushed it should rightly foot the bill, but I doubt they will without a fight.
